(Annandale, VA) 24 September 2016 - Mayvin was proud to again sponsor and participate in the 11th Annual Save-A-Limb Ride that took place at Oregon Ridge Park in Maryland on September 24th to support the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, MD. Mayvin had many participants i n the event, including employees, spouses, colleagues, and friends that rode the Metric Century course, the 15 mile ride, or the 1-mile walk. All proceeds and donations were raised to benefit the Save-A-Limb Fund, which helps change the lives of people struggling with limb or joint deformities.

The Save-A-Limb Fund was established in 2001 and supports the fight to save limbs from amputation and provide hip and knee replacements to patients in need both domestically and abroad. The fund also works to advance patient care through the research and the work of the physicians and staff of the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics (RIAO) at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
